Deepika Padukone's Ex-Manager Karishma Prakash Reaches NCB Office For Questioning - REPORTS
The Narcotics Control Bureau is investigating the alleged drugs nexus prevailing in Bollywood. It came to light after the NCB launched a probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and made several arrests. Deepika Padukone's ex-manger Karishma Prakash is currently on the radar of the Narcotics Control Bureau. Her name cropped up after a drug-peddler who was arrested by NCB reportedly mentioned her during interrogation. Later, NCB raided her residence and reportedly found some narcotic substances. Today, Karishma Prakash has reached the NCB office for questioning.

It was yesterday that the NCB issued a fresh summon to Karishma. Prior to this, it was being reported that she had gone untraceable as she did not respond to the summons sent by the agency. Reports had it that she had applied for anticipatory bail in a special NDPS court. The court gave her interim relief till November 7, which means she cannot be arrested until then.

Karishma Prakash, an employee of KWAN talent management agency, also tendered her resignation after she was issued summons once again. The company today released an official statement saying, "Karishma Prakash tendered her resignation on 21st of October with immediate effect and it was accepted. She now has nothing to do with KWAN or with any of the artists that the agency represent including Deepika Padukone. The ongoing investigations are on Karishma Prakash as an individual .We would request media houses and reporters to incorporate this fact while reporting on this issue.”

Earlier, she was questioned by the NCB along with actress Deepika Padukone.
